Remote Learning in the Time of Covid
​Despite the best efforts of school administrators, many parents are not comfortable sending their children back to "in-person" school until a vaccine or cure has been found for the Novel Corona Virus. Schools are not medical facilities. There are too many factors which educators will not be able to control. Hence, putting students, teachers, and parents at risk.
 
Alan Caro has designed a number of learning pod and homeschooling learning opportunities which are multi-sensory, participatory, and highly engaging. Utilizing techniques and strategies which are time-tested, these learning opportunities will help your child build lifelong success in reading fluency and comprehension, and writing.

Suzana Caro has designed a number of projects which are the perfect anti-dote to the stress many children are feeling. Suzana adapts traditional crafts to help students design and make beautiful artistic creations.

Who We Are​
Alan Caro is a dually certified  K - 6 General and Special Educator. He is currently a Middle School Learning Specialist. Alan utilizes skills and strategies from a variety of programs including Teachers' College, The Writing Revolution, Waldorf education, and best practices he has learned from colleagues and mentors. Alan is trained in the Reading Reform Foundation's Orton-Gillingham Phonics program developed by Esther Sands.
 
Suzana Caro is a certified and experienced Waldorf Handwork Teacher. She is also a fiber artist who transforms natural raw materials into clothing and crafts.
